Contest for innovative scientific article, project under the title ‘Scientific Debut 2023 – SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT and EUROPEAN GREEN DEAL’

The aim of this project is to enable students to publish their original articles of a scientific profile in a book form, as according to the requirements of the Act on Academic Degrees and Academic Title.

Determining the winners: 28.02.2023
- This project is open to the public and participation is open to all students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle as well as to graduates without a doctoral degree.
- The aim of this project is to enable to debut with publication of scientific profile, as well as with a reviewed report on an international scientific conference and a speech on the conference which will present the reviewed presentation.
- Any participant may send their own article, which presents their opinion, idea, point of view covering any thematic scope, provided it refers to the idea of ‘sustainable development and / or european green deal’. Articles are expected to be of a scientific and innovative nature.
- Article and the participation form shall be send in electronic form (Word and PDF files). As well as one, signed paper copy (at the back of the document, author shall write their name and last name and the address). Papers cannot be bound.
- The submitted works have to be accompanied by the participation form which author’s statement. Papers without the participation form will not be analysed or reviewed by reviewers.
- Competition works shall remain to organiser’s disposal and shall not be returned.
- Works shall be send or delivered to the following addresses: Biuro Posła do Parlamentu Europejskiego prof. Jerzego Buzka, ul. 3 Maja 17/3, 40-097 Katowice, followed by the words: „Scientific Debut 2023” and to hk@buzek.pl .
- The deadline for submitting works is 29.01.2023.
- Works will be verified and awarded by the team appointed by the organiser. The team will then forward the results of their work for approval of Scientific Council, headed by prof. dr hab. inż. Jerzy Buzek.
- The author of the best work will be invited by prof. Jerzy Buzek to visit the European Parliament. Moreover, an additional awards will be granted to students who have not completed their BA or MA. The results of the competition will be announced after 27.02.2023 on http://www.debiut.buzek.pl/ and will present the summaries of awarded works.
- All works that were qualified for publication are invited to present their reviewed article during the international scientific conference which will be attended by special guests, reviewers and the Scientific Council in the beginning of 2023. Participants will be informed about the date by mail or e-mail.
- Participation in this project is tantamount to accepting all terms of these rules and regulations.
- Sending a signed participation form is equal to the statement that the work has neither been published nor sent to any editorial office to be published..
